I am a hard working and warm hearted 22-year-old Chinese guy working and living in Beijing. My biggest passion is photography. Both camera and lens I use are the cheapest of Canon. Yet photos I have taken proved that I am talented in it;). I am doing my best saving money to buy a real professional camera(Canon 5D mark 2) now. But it will take about 3 years from now for me to save enough money for that, which is about RMB 25,000 or USD 3,500. And lighting equipment will cost more, not to mention other stuff. I am afraid it will take too long for my dream to come true.

I'm a 24 year old guy and I've lived with my 25 year old boyfriend for 5 years.  He has multiple sclerosis and, subsequently, had to quit school, his parents took his car away and cut him off for coming out.  His medicine is 3,500/ month and has had to quit taking it when the insurance ran out.  I work 60 hours a week to take care of us and share my car with him to get us both to work.  I'm drowning in medical bills and credit card debt from years of supporting us without help and being downtrodden by our families because we're gay.  No bank will give us a loan because of the medical bills, and we're about to lose our car and our apartment.  Health care reform is taking too long, he's been on the waiting list for social security for 5 years, and we can't get other government assistance because we don't qualify.  I work as much as I can, and so does he, but it just isn't cutting it.  We have both been dealt a bad hand in life and are desperate...thinking about giving up.

I am a 29 year old woman who desperately wants to go back to school!  I joined the U.S. Army straight out of high school, and after being honorably discharged, I began working in the veterinary field.  I love my job, but I have been doing it now for almost 10 years, and there really isn't any more room for me to move up.  I have my associates in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice, but I don't see myself working in that field.  Over the last couple of years, I have fiercely wanted to go back to school in order to finish my Bachelors degree.  I have been accepted into a University, however, I am afraid that I will not be able to afford it.  

I work full time and work pay check to pay check.  I haven't been able to save money for it, so I will be relying on scholarships/grants/loans.  A am a 4.0 student that works hard in order to keep that grade!  I am shooting for a Bachelors in Exercise Science, with the hopes of being admitted into the Physical Therapy Doctorate program thereafter.  

I need my life to change!  I am taking control, and am not going to shy away from the difficult things that scare me (such as Chemistry).  I am going to put my head down and plow through this in order to provide for myself and my family better!    

My name is Mike. I am a disabled 64 year old male. I am so far in debt that I cannot see straight. But I am not asking anyone for a huge amount of money or financialaid here. All I am asking for is $500 so I can get a '1-800 Dreamline' started. The company(Access Communications) pays for all advertising. If I can get at least one line running, I can eventually get myself out of debt. 

I feel that asking for a small amount just to get a proven business going, is better than asking for a huge amount. Each line is actually $425, but I rounded it up to $500 for incidentals.

My name is Gary Smith.  I am a gay male who lives in the hills of Kentucky.  My lover and I have been together for 4 years.  (On and off for 17.)  We have seen a lot of people die of AIDS, Crystal abuse, drug abuse of many kinds, at the hands of others... and by their own hands. 

We are tired of standing idly by and watching our fellow men fall by the wayside.  Some killing themselves slowly using drugs... some taking a quick jump to death through a loop tied to the ceiling... and some dying slowly due to AIDS.  

We are looking for people and agencies who want to help snuff out the disease of drug addiction... namely addiction to Crystal Methamphetamine. 

We are looking to buy a stretch of land, here in the hills of Kentucky, and turn it into a farm.  Accept applicants who need a new start (away from the drugs and the gay lifestyle) to live in a communal setting.  Tending animals, gardening, carpentry, housekeeping, cooking, cleaning, and so on.  

We believe that funding for their upkeep can be found easily.  We are just needing the start-up capital.  (Property, housing, furnishings, livestock, equipment, seed, feed, and provisions.)

They average meth user goes back after six months, to using... usually to an extreme.

We would like to provide this setting for one year to each individual and phase them back into society... clean, productive, bright-eyed, and with a yearning to help others in our community.

At times, when the need arises some will be allowed to stay on indefinitely as positions come open. 

We have people from a lot of healing arts standing ready to help in this venture with their expertise.  (Raiki experts, Physical trainers, physical therapists, yoga instructors, respiratory therapists, and religious leaders in numerous different beliefs.)

As you can see, we don't intend to leave any need unmet for these individuals, not physical, mental, or even spiritual.  We believe that every person can only be made whole... if their WHOLE PERSON is not given undivided attention and healing in this process.

Please, someone... anyone... help us to accomplish this so we can start helping the gay community to start healing. 

Hello, I am looking for funding, donations in the form of money, goods i.e. office supplies, cars, building materials pretty much anything that would be able to benefit our small non-profit organization. I am the Executive Assistant to the Board of directors of our newly formed corporation, Freedom House. We are currently seeking funds or any other assistance to aid in the construction of housing units, operating costs and functionality of our not-for-profit organization. Our Focus is to help Men of all ages who suffer from Alcoholism/Drug Abuse and or Emotional problems. We are a Gay friendly corporation whereas there are not very many facilities that openly accept everyone that needs help without judgment. This belief is our core value to assist those who want to accept a better way of living life, through support and structure. We are currently in our first phase. We need assistance as I stated getting housing units built so that we can get off the ground floor, donations of money or anything that pertains to office supplies, food or cars for transportation is very much needed. fired for being gay need help with July 2008 rent and utilities

Hi, I am a single male and live alone. I was working as a free lance account manager in advertising, but as of January of this year the jobs started getting less and less. I started looking for full time work in advertising in January when I saw the free lance work suddenly dwindle, by February I was getting very worried and started looking for work outside of my field. At this point I even tried to get a job as a host in a restaurant, but was told I was over qualified. My money has completely ran out and I was served with my court papers this morning to evict from the premises. I am a trained and educated professional in the advertising industry who has never been out of work. I have nowhere else to move to, which includes family because of my sexual orientation. I've been interviewing almost daily at this point, but do not have a job offer on the table. I would appreciate if anyone could help me with $1400 to cover my rent, just to end the eviction process; the idea of being homeless scares me. I would more than gladly sign any legal binder to pay back the amount once I am employed again. I live in Long Beach Ca, and have a great place for a cheap price and don't want to loose my home after 10 years. I just need help to get through this.

8-12-2008 - Update. The job market in california is still dry. Since my original post, I lost my apartment, the city impounded my car for past due parking tickets and I don't have the 640.00 to get it out. I'm living in the back seat of my friends car and shower at the gym. During the day I stay at the Publi Library to use theie wireless services and job hunt.

Im barely finishing college because I have to go to work to pay overwelming bills. My granny is in the hospital and is very sick. My parents can't help me because they are in denile that they are in debt or something. I have a few friends, and I am trying to find more ways to make more money.
